Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2 June 2026
SelfAgent is a powerful, autonomous tool. You agree to use it responsibly and lawfully. You must not use SelfAgent to:
Prohibited uses
- Break any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Create or distribute malware, exploits, phishing, or tools designed to harm systems or people.
- Access systems, accounts, or data without authorization, or bypass security/authentication controls.
- Send spam or bulk unsolicited messages, or scrape/automate any service in violation of its terms.
- Generate or distribute content that sexualizes minors, incites violence, harasses, or unlawfully discriminates.
- Defeat CAPTCHAs or bot-detection on services that prohibit it.
- Infringe intellectual property or misappropriate confidential information.
- Make automated financial transactions, trades, or money transfers without your explicit, informed control.
Use autonomy responsibly
Because the agent can browse, control your computer, and act on connected accounts, you are responsible for what you authorize it to do. Grant access only to what you trust, review sensitive (approval-gated) actions, and supervise high-impact automation.
Third-party terms
You must comply with the terms of every model provider, website, and service you connect through SelfAgent (including MCP connectors, email, and messaging platforms).
Enforcement
SelfAgent runs on your own machine, so we cannot and do not monitor your usage. This policy defines acceptable conduct; violating it is at your own legal risk and voids any implied permission to use the Software for such purposes.
